Every year in September since 2002 Madison has hosted Ironman Wisconsin, which takes place right here on campus.

Worried about not being able to swim? We've got you covered - beginners are welcome! We have weekly workouts where you can get some advice on your swimming technique. We also occasionally offer "stroke technique" clinics where an educated coach can help you out.
Each year the team goes on a Spring Break training trip! This year we went to Clemson, SC!
We love to race. Racing isn't required to be on the team, but it's a lot of fun!
Any UW-Madison student, faculty, or staff member is allowed to be on the team. All fitness levels are welcome!
USAT Collegiate Nationals is the biggest race for collegiate triathletes and is held each year in April. This year it was in Tempe, AZ and as a team we placed 13th in the nation.
The only city in North America to be built on an isthmus makes Madison, WI one of the top triathlon towns in the country! Triathlete Magazine has ranked Madison a top 10 place for triathletes to live. It has also been voted #1 most bicycle friendly town, #1 college sports town, and the #1 most educated city in the country. In 2012, Kingliner ranked Madison the #1 best city in the USA to live for young adults.
